The 2009 TripleMania show, known as TripleMania XVII, was held on June 13, at Mexico City's Palacio de Los Deportes.

Other Notes
- Zorro actually took about 3 cane shots before attacking the tecnicos.
- Rules were the last team left in the cage lost. El Hijo del Santo was the last to escape, leaving Silver King behind
The Legion would've won complete ownership of AAA had they won the match, and the AAA team won back the position of AAA president for Joaquin Roldan. Cien Caras was special referee for the match.
Silver King, normally a masked wrestler in AAA, was forced to unmaking by the commission (since he had previously lost this mask.) Silver King covered up his face with face paint in the design of his mask instead.
