Bárbaro Cavernario captured the championship on May 3, 2015 in Arena Mexico by defeating Titán.
History of Championship
Jack O'Brien, Ciclon Veloz and Chato Cabral made claims on this championship in 1940, when it was in limbo after Bobby Arreola gave it up due to injury in 1939. Their reigns were considered non official, with the next official champion in 1941. (SuperLuchas
