The Occidente Tag Team Championship is one of the state championships of the Guadalajara box y lucha libre commission. It's been a relatively important regional titles over the years, and is now controlled by the Guadalajara branch of CMLL.
This championship appears to have been interchangeably referred to as the Jalisco Tag Team Championship during the 1960s. (That was not the case with the other Occidente championships.) In modern times, the Jalisco Tag Team Championship is a different title.

El Gallo & Esfinge are the current champions. They defeated Boby Zavala & Olimpico) on February 27, 2015 in Arena Coliseo Guadalajara.
