Notes

Wrestled as early as 2005 as Samba, a tecnico in Mexico State. Debuted in IWRG in March 2007 under the same name. He had no feuds, but faced the likes of Puma King, Comando Gama and Nemesis.

Redebuted as the latest Multifacético in November 2007. Even though there was only a short time between gimmick changes, it was not widely known that he had previously been Samba at first. The young 'newcomer' was immediately showcased as an upcoming tecnico. The fans bristled at heavy handedness of his sudden rise. (In the most visible instance, identical Multifacetico support signs were visible in Arena Naucalpan, where signs of any type are rarely seen.) Multifacetico was also tagged as being dangerous to work with. The fans turned on Multifacetico, cheering rudo Black Terry in a feud that was designed to establish Multifacetico's credibility and toughness. Neither IWRG or Multifacetico bowed to the reaction. Multifacetico continued to be a one of the higher ranked wrestlers thru his two year stint, the negative reaction subsided over that time and some of Multifacetico's matches (especially those Black Terry bouts) were considered among the best the promotion had to offer.

Multifacetico quietly disappeared from IWRG in April 2009. A month later, retired luchador Guerrero Maya introduced his son, Guerrero Maya Jr. to the press as a new member of CMLL. Guerrero Maya had never lost his mask and wore it for the introduction, but it was known he was actually Black Terry. Guerrero Maya Jr. was soon suspected of being the missing Multifacetico (based on face and gestures.) Maya Jr. ended the speculation himself in a later introduction promo, cheerfully nicknaming himself "el Multifacetico de lucha libre." Maya Jr.'s exact relationship to Black Terry is in unclear; Maya has referred to Terry as his father and at others only as his mentor. Terry's still unrevealed dual identity makes it more complex.

Maya Jr. was introduced among many new luchadors debuting at the same time, but mostly closely with a group of fellow Juniors: As Jr., Hijo del Sicodelico, and Rene Guarajado Jr.. They did not receive any special name like Generacion del 75 before or Generacion 2011 after, and all but Maya Jr. disappeared from the ranks of CMLL by the end of the year. Maya, again a tecnico, wrestled in mostly the first couple matches of shows. He radically changed his gear, from an aquamarine/black look resembling his predecessor, to a black/green/purple modern look which borrowed elements from the original design and his Multifacetico look (including the M on the mask. Maya was notable for his wide array of armdrags, but, much like his years as Samba, did not receive any particular attention.

Maya's breakout took place in the spring and summer of 2011, where he suddenly found a way in many different stories at the same time. Maya was given a chance to wrestle singles matches in Forjando un Idolo, where he was coached by Shocker and surprisingly made it to the knockout round and had some of the best matches of the tournament. Maya was pulled into the Generacion 2011 vs veteran primera/segunda luchadors when some of the Generacon 2011 luchadors were injured. Maya also won a #1 contenders cibernetico to face Virus for the CMLL World Super Lightweight Championship. Maya did not win, but impressed greatly in the fight. The match was one of the best of 2011.

Maya Jr.'s performance in Forjando un Idolo led him to being part of a trios tournament with Atlantis & Delta. The three came out on top of the four team tournament and resolved to keep teaming. Atlantis turned tecnico in the process, angering Ultimo Guerrero. Delta & Maya Jr. stayed with Atlantis when Shocker was ready to return to the ring, equally angering Shocker. Both angry luchadors used their own trios to feud with Maya's group through second half of the year. The feud with Shocker died out quick, but the issue with Ultimo Guerrero and his Los Guerreros continued through the fall and winter. Maya and Atlantis unsuccessfully challenged Dragon Rojo Jr. and Ultimo Guerrero for the CMLL World Tag Team Championship, but found better results in trios.

The three man unit switched their attention to Los Invasores, defeating them for the Mexican National Trios Championship in yet another good match involving Maya in 2011. Now known as Los Reyes del Atlantida, the team defended their belts against various combinations for the first half of 2012 in well received bouts, before succumbing to a reconfigured Invasores unit in June 2012. Atlantis moved on to other issues, but the high flying Delta and the multidimensional Maya Jr. have continued to work as a team.
