IWRG holds a Royal Rumble style match once a year called Rey Del Ring (King of the Ring). The winner is given a championship belt. Over the years, the tournament has grown from a single annual event than a championship belt defended thru the rest of the year.
Rules
- 30 wrestlers participate.
- 4 wrestlers start off in the ring.
- Wrestlers could only eliminated via pinfall, submission or disqualification.
In early years:
- Every time a wrestler is eliminated, a new wrestler comes out to take their place.
- There can never be more than 4 wrestlers in the ring at the same time.
In recent years:
- the match is a normal timed battle royal, with wrestlers entering regularly without regard to how many others are in the ring.
Champions Listing
Championship is automatically vacated before the following year's match.
