|Decnis (Pronounced as "Dennis")|
Decnnis started in AAA in early 2001 as a member of then debuting Barrio Boys (with Alan & Billy Boy), a young skateboarding trio. The Barrio Boys feuded with the Black Family, basically their rudo equivalent in terms of experience. The feud spilled over into a battle over the Mexican National Atomicos Championship, with the Barrios teaming with Oscar Sevilla to win the titles twice. None of the members of the group were individually spotlighted much during this time.
Decnnis was also one of six AAA wrestlers to go on the VANS Warped Tour in 2007, wrestling lucha libre matches as a side show to the concerts.
That started to change in 2006, as Billy Boy engaged in a long run feud with Gran Apache over Fabi Apache. When Billy Boy become depressed over his complete losses in the feud and refused to fight in matches, both Alan and Decnnis turned on him and allied with Gran Apache. This was the first time Decnnis had been on the rudo side.
Decnnis got a new look as part of a joining the Guapos VIP in mid 2007, replacing Alan Stone as part of the Guapos vs Los Bellos Stones feud. Teaming with Zumbido & Scorpio Jr. gave Decnnis a fresh start, since the non-Billy members of the Guapos had been left behind before their break up. It wasn't a much different character for Decnnis, just now playing a blond rudo version of a pretty boy, but it was different enough to make Decnnis individually important in a long time.
The Guapos set up a feud with Super Porky at 2008's TripleMania, but were having issues with AAA over how much they were being paid. The core members - Scorpio, Zumbido, Decnnis, mini manager Guapito but not including the recently added El Brazo - decided to leave AAA as a group, with all but Zumbido making a surprise appearance on an IWRG show. Decnnis immediately changed his mind and returned to AAA, the only company he'd worked for. Guapito made the same decision a week later. Scorpio and Zumbido stayed independent, and angry at those two who returned.
AAA decided to continue using the concept of the Guapos, but eventually changed the name to the Metrosexuals to ward off trademark problems. El Brazo took over as leader, Decnnis became second in charge, and Escorpion Negro was brought into round out the trio. The Metrosexauls continued a feud against Brazo de Plata, leading to a end of 2008 cage match where El Brazo lost his hair after he and Guapito turned on each other.
Decnnis and the rest of the Metrosexuals appeared only a couple times in early 2009 after the hair match loss before disappearing for television entirely. It appeared there was just no interest in the character at the times. Escorpion left AAA during this period, and the other two were brought back with Guapito had been the one who was getting them on TV prior, so they had to make peace with him to get back on TV. This storyline, as part of Guapito's "Chihuahuas del Mal" promotion, also disappeared in AAA sometime over that summer.
Decnnis sporadically appeared as an undercard rudo, often supporting former partner Billy Boy and his girl Sexi Star. During a period where Billy Boy was suspended, Decnnis replaced him in mixed tags with Sexi against rivals Aerostar and Fabi Apache.
At the 2009 Heroes Inmortales show, Decnnis inexplicably teamed with tecnicos Gronda II & Elegido versus rudos Groon XXX, Joe Lider, and Nicho in a hardcore cage match, but still was managed by Guapito. Guapito was powerbombed thru a table after the match, which appears to explain Decnnis' continued involvement on the tecnico side.
