Danny Boy first started showing up in our results around 1976. The first match of his that we know of is a September 5th, 1976 match against Bello Adan at Arena Lopez Mateos.

He was getting shots at the Estado de Mexico Lightweight title early and won the title by defeating El Hungaro on June 21st, 1977. This was not the end of their rivalry though as the pair met in a hair match on February 2nd, 1978 where Hungaro beat Danny by disqualification. Danny then lost his Lightweight title on April 18th, 1978 to [[Babe Richard]]. Danny turned things around though and beat Aguila Real for his mask on May 30th, 1978. Danny then one more apuestas match that year against [[Rudy Reyna]], where he lost his hair on August 29th, 1978.

Danny had a quiet 1979 but became an Arena Naucalpan regular during that time. He defeated Aguila Real for his mask a second time on May 14th, 1980. Danny was mostly in opening matches from this point forward and would often be seen against [[Fuerza Guerrera]] and [[Black Terry]], whom he fought in a hair match on October 26th, 1983.

Danny is most known for being a member of [[Arqueros del Espacio]] (The Space Archers). The group seemed to have formed in 1983 and featured Danny, [[Lasser]] and [[Robin Hood]]. The group would often wear Robin Hood style gear and had their first name initials on their belts. The group was one of the first themed trios and they had a lot of success with the gimmick as they often made appearances in the semi-main and main event slots on cards.

The group feuded with other trios at the time like the exotico trio of [[Baby Sharon]], [[Rizado Ruiz]] and [[Rudy Reyna]], [[Los Diabolicos]], [[Los Destructores]] and [[Los Bravos]]. The group captured their first set of titles when they won the Mexico State trios titles from Los Diabolicos sometime in the second half of 1985. The exact date is unknown, but they lost the title to [[Los Temerarios]] by July 1987.

Los Arqueros won the [[Distrito Federal Trios Championship]] on January 21st, 1990 by defeating [[Los Temerarios]]. They lost the titles to [[Los Thundercats]] on August 17th, 1990 after losing to them the week prior.

Los Arqueros disappeared soon after. While it was never acknowledged, Danny and Robin became part of [[Los Tortuguillos Karatekas]] (The Karate Turtles) along with former Diabolicos rivals [[El Gallego]] and [[Rocky Santana]]. The group was named after the popular cartoon at the time, The Ninja Turtles. While the gimmick may have not been the most serious, it was a hit with kids and spawned a CMLL clone named [[Los Tortugas Ninjas]]. Danny's Karatekas typically fought in 8-man tags and often found themselves against old rivals like Los Temerarios with an additional teammate. The group started to unravel in 1992 with Rocky Santana losing his mask on August 9th, 1992. The gimmick didn't really work without everyone being masked and with the Ninja Turtles losing popularity, Danny was not seen much until 1995, when he was 35 years old.

Danny mostly became an Arena Lopez Mateos regular from 1995 on. He did not appear in the results as much but kept active. He captured the CENTRO Heayweight title in early 2007 and likely lost it later in the year. He feuded again with [[Romano Garcia]] and they two met in a super libre match which Danny won, then a hair match which Danny lost on March 18th, 2009. Danny is still active to this day in 2021.

Biography

Danny Boy first started showing up in our results around 1976. The first match of his that we know of is a September 5th, 1976 match against Bello Adan at Arena Lopez Mateos.

He was getting shots at the Estado de Mexico Lightweight title early and won the title by defeating El Hungaro on June 21st, 1977. This was not the end of their rivalry though as the pair met in a hair match on February 2nd, 1978 where Hungaro beat Danny by disqualification. Danny then lost his Lightweight title on April 18th, 1978 to Babe Richard. Danny turned things around though and beat Aguila Real for his mask on May 30th, 1978. Danny then one more apuestas match that year against Rudy Reyna, where he lost his hair on August 29th, 1978.

Danny had a quiet 1979 but became an Arena Naucalpan regular during that time. He defeated Aguila Real for his mask a second time on May 14th, 1980. Danny was mostly in opening matches from this point forward and would often be seen against Fuerza Guerrera and Black Terry, whom he fought in a hair match on October 26th, 1983.

Danny is most known for being a member of Arqueros del Espacio (The Space Archers). The group seemed to have formed in 1983 and featured Danny, Lasser and Robin Hood. The group would often wear Robin Hood style gear and had their first name initials on their belts. The group was one of the first themed trios and they had a lot of success with the gimmick as they often made appearances in the semi-main and main event slots on cards.

The group feuded with other trios at the time like the exotico trio of Baby Sharon, Rizado Ruiz and Rudy Reyna, Los Diabolicos, Los Destructores and Los Bravos. The group captured their first set of titles when they won the Mexico State trios titles from Los Diabolicos sometime in the second half of 1985. The exact date is unknown, but they lost the title to Los Temerarios by July 1987.

Los Arqueros won the Distrito Federal Trios Championship on January 21st, 1990 by defeating Los Temerarios. They lost the titles to Los Thundercats on August 17th, 1990 after losing to them the week prior.

Los Arqueros disappeared soon after. While it was never acknowledged, Danny and Robin became part of Los Tortuguillos Karatekas (The Karate Turtles) along with former Diabolicos rivals El Gallego and Rocky Santana. The group was named after the popular cartoon at the time, The Ninja Turtles. While the gimmick may have not been the most serious, it was a hit with kids and spawned a CMLL clone named Los Tortugas Ninjas.

He feuded again with Romano Garcia and they two met in a super libre match which Danny won, then a hair match which Danny lost on March 18th, 2009. Danny is still active to this day in 2021.
