Before following his father's foot steps in professional wrestling, Estudiante Jr. had a background sports in olympic and greco-roman wrestling since he was twelve years old. He participated in State and National competitions. He was part of the first generation of Mr. Tempest Professional Wrestling School. At first he was invited at Gimnasio Ichinoe as a trainer for greco-roman and wrestling. He is Lucha Libre style is the one of an old school rudo. He combines technique with brawling skills. He can be either praised or hated by the crowds.
He modified his father's mask design, always respecting its original symbol. The trademark hammer and sickle symbol was moved to the left side of his mask. On the back of the head, he added another feature which is an open book with a letter "E" in the middle which stands for Estudiante (Student). He is fomenting the youth to study.
In a short period of time he reached the main event matches. He had successfully defended his mask in three "Jaulas de la Muerte" matches. So far he had represented Mexicali, his hometown receiving opponents from the biggest promotions in Mexico and the independent circuit. Opponents at National and International level such as, Psycho Circus, Los Villanos, Averno, Chessman, Bengala, Garza Jr., Niebla Roja, Rey Escorpión, La Sombra, Rush, Los Traumas, Rayman, Rey Horus, Extreme Tiger, Mr. Aguila, Bestia 666, Laredo Kid, and most recently against Hijo del Santo and Santo Jr.. Besides of his presentations all over Baja California he had also worked at promotions in the south of United States. Lucha Libre Voz in Arizona and Baja Stars in San Diego.
He also had been a Lucha Libre trainer. He had helped several aspiring wrestlers to become professionals.
This is only the beginning of a prominent career.
Independent Circuit - Today
On August 11, 2018 un Rosarito, Baja California Estudiante Jr. defeated El Hijo de Rey Misterio III for the vacant FILL Light Heavyweight Championship. Estudiante Jr. became the first PWL Hybrid Champion on August 18, 2018 in Arena Nacionalista.
Estudiante Jr. defeated Genio Del Aire for the UABC-FCA Cup 2016. The crowd threw money in the ring and the Honorable Commission of Box and Wrestling said it was the match of the Year
