We only include profiles for wrestlers in lucha libre promotions. The profile you put up was for someone who's only worked in a WWE promotion, so it doesn't belong here. --thecubsfan 21:52, 22 March 2011 (UTC)

Thanks for all your work on expanding on the luchadores in Mexicali. I've noticed a lot of the pics yo are adding to profiles like Baronessa are from facebook, a luchadora so unknown and young like Baronessa doesn't need so many pics on her profile, so instead if she has a facebook page link that to the profile instead of adding so many pics to a relative unknown, so people looking for more on her can follow the links to their facebook for more pics as to keep the profiles less cluttered.--Flashmagic (talk) 04:07, 21 January 2017 (PST)

Got it, keep pictures at the minimum for younger wrestlers. If there is a Facebook fan page I will include the link. I usually ask wrestlers to add pictures with their permission. I will organize the information as best as I can. By the way I still have more luchadors from Mexicali and all over Baja California to incluide and I will keep in mind the number of pictures. I think I can add more for veteran luchadors who have no web page. 12:37, 20 January 2017

Cheyene's wrestled unmasked, his name revealed so it stays on the profile, it doesn't matter that he remasked himself.--Flashmagic (talk) 15:34, 26 March 2017 (PDT)

Did he lost the mask? He hasn't lost the mask under this character. He did not say anything about losing his mask.

According to the rules:

"If a luchadore is wrestling under a mask, do not post his real name. You may be able to find that information elsewhere, and we'll include information about past identities and relations, but if a masked wrestler has not announced his birth name to the world and it's not generally known, we're not going to post it"

I am acting under the rules.

I'll meet you on the real name, but leave the picture of him as Cheyene. He has wrestled unmasked as this character.--Flashmagic (talk) 23:01, 26 March 2017 (PDT)

"Hetzza" being an anagram is an amazing fact. --Thecubsfan (talk) 10:19, 12 January 2018 (PST)

Pictures

Hi why do you add so many pictures? Especially if you take them from Facebook. Why not just add external links to the Facebook page you got it from so if someone wants to see a luchador's pics they can just go to their Facebook or Instagram etc. Adding pics is good but why so many. --Latin915 (talk) 15:03, 16 June 2018 (PDT)

Hello! It's been a while. Well, many of the pictures are from facebook groups particularly the older ones, another reason is that I tend to upload pictures of the luchadors with the championships they held or the lucha de apuestas victories with the mask/hair won as proof. Other pictures are provided by the luchadors themselves and I do my best to choose those that could tell about his/her career.

I try include the links to the official sites of the younger luchadors. I am going to consider your idea.

By the way, are you still with Lucha Libre Unleashed?

Tunderman (talk) 22:14, 16 June 2018 (PDT)

  • No I'm not there anymore. --Latin915 (talk) 23:40, 16 June 2018 (PDT)

CMLL 85th Anniversario

Hi long time no talk. I spend a lot of time on another wikia now so Im not here as often. You are good at keeping the lucha de apuestas records up to date for the luchadors. Can you update the lucha de apuestas for Volador Jr., Matt Taven, Rush and Bárbaro Cavernario after the CMLL 85th Anniversario event then add them to 2018? --Latin915 (talk) 16:19, 17 September 2018 (PDT)

Hi! It's been a while! Sorry, I couldn't see your message until today. I had been busy helping with a lucha libre web show and I had been working on a biography which is going to take me a while.

Let me check if someone else updated the records already. By the way, which wikia are you writing at?

Tunderman (talk) 11:57, 19 September, 2018 (PDT)

I took care of this. I'll try to put them results next. --thecubsfan (talk) 13:01, 19 September 2018 (PDT)

  • I became an administrator for a wrestling wikia on a different network but I'll still be here from time to time because I first started learning wikia here so it is a special place for me and this is still the best place that covers all of Lucha Libre. --Latin915 (talk) 14:38, 19 September 2018 (PDT)

Baronessa

How many images of Baronessa are you gonna upload? You have added over 100 images to her page. How many more does it need? Reading your talk page I'm not the only one who have asked this about Baronessa and yet you continue to do it. Why? --Latin915 (talk) 23:10, 20 November 2018 (PST)

Baronessa again.

I asked you this a year ago and you didn't answer so I ask again since you keep doing it. How many more images of her are you gonna add when you have added over 100 images to her page?--Latin915 (talk) 11:35, 2 January 2020 (PST)

First of all, I know the purpose of this website is to preserve and present the history of lucha libre. I usually add pictures that tell a history. Not only on hers, but in the other profiles, especially for veterans. The Mexican lucha libre is colorful and I am a visual learner myself for this reason I add several pictures on the profiles in order to illustrate them, but always meaningful pictures like those from magazines, with factual information or with titles, apuestas wins or any other accomplishment. In other words, I look for pictures that support the statements. Perhaps I overdone in the number of pictures in Baronessa's gallery, but I look for the symbolic ones. I know it's been more than a year since that message. I moderated, and I did not add more pictures since her latest lucha de apuestas match, otherwise, the profile would had 200. Yesterday, she became champion again and for this reason I updated her profile. In general, I include at least a picture for each lucha de apuestas or title match as evidence. I know she is young and she has five years of in ring career and still has a long way to become known at national level, but she has demonstrated a lot potential and being a persevering luchadora. In a way, she inspired me to make more contributions to this website, expanding more about information about luchadores from my hometown and surrounding areas. For almost four years, I've been adding at least a new luchador profile on each week. It's been exactly 13 years since my first contribution to this website and I think, I have the same enthusiasm or even more.

Let me at least keep the pictures of ger with the apuestas and titles, because those are meaningful. After all a picture is worth a thousand words.

Dr. Wagner Jr.

Not a good idea to move Dr. Wagner's page. See the discussion here:

--Latin915 (talk) 09:50, 20 April 2020 (PDT)

He officially announced his name change right after his mask loss that is a fact. I thought to update his name based on that change, it is not a nickname, because he is billed in recent line-ups as Rey Wagner.

-- Tunderman (talk) 10:18, 20 April 2020 (PDT)

Obviously I know where the name Rey Wagner comes from, the point is Triple A is calling him Dr. Wagner Jr. again. See for yourself on this tweet from Triple A:

Lady Apache

I notice you added a picture of Lady Apache as "La Magnífica" to her page. When and where did she work as "La Magifica"? MPJ-DK (talk) 09:33, 23 April 2020 (PDT)

User:MPJ-DK she used it in a short film she was in. la magnifica movie page--Flashmagic (talk) 12:16, 23 April 2020 (PDT)
