Gimnasio Ichinoe
The Gimnasio Ichinoe or Ichinoe Dojo was Gymnasium based in Mexicali, Baja California. It was originaly established in 1942 by Sensei Enrique Campos León. He was trainer in a police Academy in Los Angeles. His first Dojo was located in the Mexicali Downtown. He wsd trainer in the disciplines of Judo, Jiu Jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts. After the 2010 earthquake the building was severely damaged and they had to relocate at Ex-Ejido Coahuila. The used an abandoned auto shop as a new Gymnasium. The administration passed to his Campos's son, Jose Campos.
Lucha Libre Connection
The new location was big enough to hold sports events such as amateur and professional boxing, MMA and of course lucha libre. During 2011 Mr. Tempest was training for his second MMA match at Ichinoe and during a conversation they proposed the idea of holding lucha libre events and use an space at the gym for training luchadores. Gimnasio Ichinoe became the first location for the new Mr. Tempest Professional Wrestling School during 2012. Gimnasio Ichinoe held lucha libre events once per month with a maximum capacity of 350 attendants (standing). In this place there were debuts of Mr. Tempest's alumni Baronessa, Chango Asesino, Thunder Kid, and Efekto. They Gymnasium had to close on September 2014.
