Was forced to change his name to Demus 3:16 as Damián 666 held the copyright to the name.
In 2010 won a Torneo Bicentenario Tournament where he would leave the miniestrellas roster to join the regular size CMLL roster. Demoted back to the minis division as a result of his 2011 hair match with Virus.
In April 2017, Demus left CMLL & became an independent luchador because he felt he wasn't getting the same opportunities in CMLL that he was in Indies promotions. He decided his name going foward would be Demus El Demonio.
