On June 5, 2017, his father, Ray Mendoza Jr. announced that Kaving was to become Villano V Jr. and follow the Villanos legacy.
On July 2, 2017, the name Villano V Jr. went to his brother Kortiz so Kaving took the name of Rokambole Jr. Rokambole was a name used by the Villanos early in their careers and it likely refers to a fictional French character named Rocambole who was an adventurer.
