Trained in the first Lucha Libre School in Seattle by Peligro, the founder of that school and promoter of Lucha Libre Volcanica.
La Avispa joined while she was attending University. She was the first and only female wrestler traning Mexican lucha libre. She begame the first luchadora in the Nortwest Pacific in the United States.
She became Taco Libre Smackdown Champion on May 4, 2015.
On April 29, 2017, in Noche de Reyes, La Avispa became the first-ever Lucha Libre Volcánica Lightweight Champion in a triple threat match against Bat Boy & Sonico.
