Trained in the first Lucha Libre School in Seattle by Peligro, the founder of that school and promoter of Lucha Libre Volcanica.

La Avispa joined while she was attending University. In her freshman year of University Avispa joined a circus club where she met the luchador Ave Fenix who saw Avispa's progress. December 2011, he invited her to a lucha libre traning. She was the first and only female wrestler traning Mexican lucha libre. She begame the first luchadora in the Northwest Pacific in the United States. In LLV she became personal trainer.

Her debut was on March 9, 2013 in Puget Sound University. She became Taco Libre Smackdown Champion on May 4, 2015.

On April 29, 2017, in Noche de Reyes, La Avispa became the first-ever Lucha Libre Volcánica Lightweight Champion in a triple threat match against Bat Boy & Sonico.

Avispa kept wrestling local and regionally and she also wrestled in Canada. On August 2016 she traveled for second time to Mexico to participate officially in a lucha libre event and having her first women's match after three years of in ring career. Her first opponent was Sexy Violeta in that same tour along with her traveling parter received the opportunity to being trained by Tony Salazar. Avispa's first day of work left good recommendationa and the doors of CMLL were open if she wanted to train there again.

Avispa challenged Ave Fenix for the LLV Grand Championship. She won the title becoming the new and first female champion.

Early on 2018 she made a tryout with The Crash. Daga and Fénix were the trainers. After that she came back to the United States for some months. On May, her dream to improve her lucha libre style make her decide to move to Mexico and train again with CMLL pursuing the dream of all luchadors to step on the ring of Arena Mexico. Unlike the experience with The Crash, in her arrival Avispa got the attention and earned respect. Her recommendations from her maestros went to the bookers of CMLL. Francisco Alonso Lutteroth decides to give her the opportinty to wrestle in CMLL. Made her debut in CMLL on October 5, 2018 in Arena Mexico as La Avispa Dorada.
