Profile

He was always a Lucha Libre, especially in events at Toreo de Cuatro Caminos and Arena Naucalpan, his older brother took him each week, his interest began by watching many luchadors and he propoused to become one of them someday. His maestros were Cruz Bocanegra (Silver Fox) y and Pablo Fuentes (MS1) he trained with them for 5 years to become professional. His debut was on April 30, 1990 at Arena Colinas de San Mateo in Naucalpan, Mexico State. Went under different identities until he assumed the one of Rey Gato for more than 20 years. Spent most of his career as rudo, though sometimes he participated as tecnico. His style was based on stiff technique until the end of his career, demonstrating his mat skills. Though he had to adapt to the different wrestling styles of his opponents, he had matches in which he had high flying maneuvers, and hardcore matches, but he never left the classic style. He also created at least 5 or 6 submission holds that other wrestlers could hardly do.

Wrestled in Pista Arena Revolucion, Arena Isabel, Arena Xochimilco, Arena San Juan Pantitlan, Arena Neza, Arena Popo, Arena El Cortijo, Arena Isabel de Leon, Arena Coliseo Monterrey, Arena Solidaridad, Arena Cines Puente Rojo, among others. He had traveled in most of Mexico and wrestled in different promotions at national level.
