The AAA Latin American Championship is a professional wrestling championship promoted by Lucha Libre AAA. It was introduced in 2011. It's used as a secondary championship behind the AAA World Heavyweight Championship.
Current Champions
Taurus is the current champion. He defeated Villano Jr. in a decision match also with Octagon Jr. to win the title on May 1st, 2021 to win the title.
History of Championship
The championship was introduced in 2011 at TripleMania XIX. Dr. Wagner Jr. defeated Rob Van Dam in a decision match to become the inaugural champion.
