He trained for a year and a half. Before his professional debut he had exhibition matches. His professional debut was on April 30, 2017 at Arena Nacionalista in a tag team match. Teamed up with Gurilinch against Infierno and Rey Arcano.

He always liked gorillas and he wanted to adopt a name and gimmick related. His ring name and gimmick is based on a comic character named El Gorgo. The mask and gear design were elaborated by his wife.
