Current Champions
La Mala Fama (Arez, Látigo, Toxin) defeated La Pandemia (Gran Pandemónium, Hijo de Pandemónium, Pandemonium Jr.) on March 14, 2024 in Arena Naucalpan to win the championships.
History of Championship
Scorpio Jr., El Veneno, Cerebro Negro held the belts when they were members of La Corporacion. Soon after winning the belts, Scorpio Jr. left for AAA, leaving the belts in limbo for some time. The belts were mentioned as vacant immediately prior to the decision match for the new championship.
Even putting aside Scorpio Jr.'s departure, Cerebro Negro broke with Veneno, and both led teams to determine the new champion. Veneno, with rudos El Hijo del Diablo and Fantasma de la Opera won the titles, but the team they beat, Cerebro Negro, Dr. Cerebro and Mike 'Suicida' Segura took the titles in the first attempted title defense.
La Dinastía de la Muerte, Negro Navarro, Trauma I, Trauma II defeated Los Piratas (Pirata Morgan, Hijo de Pirata Morgan, Pirata Morgan Jr.) on August 9, 2015 in Arena Naucalpan to win the championships. The champions are no longer working with IWRG - the Los Traumas last match was in 2020 - but the promotion has chosen not to strip the championships for unclear reasons.
