== History of Championship ==
This is a distinct and separate championship from the [[UWA World Light Heavyweight Championship]]. The two titles are occasionally confused with each other on posters. The Junior Light Heavyweight Championship was added in 1977, after the first wave of UWA championships. Those championships were in demand, and this one seemed to be added to create more potential title matches.

After the UWA fell apart, the championship eventually ended up in Japan, and as part of the J-Crown Octuple Championship. After that championship was broken apart, the championship drifted to Michinoku Pro Wrestling in Japan.

Current Champion

History of Championship

This is a distinct and separate championship from the UWA World Light Heavyweight Championship. The two titles are occasionally confused with each other on posters. The Junior Light Heavyweight Championship was added in 1977, after the first wave of UWA championships. Those championships were in demand, and this one seemed to be added to create more potential title matches.
