Current Champion
Takeshi Minamino won the vacated championship on September 9th, 2004 in a 3 way match. The current status of the Title is unclear as Minamino only defended the title once since winning it. So it isn't known whether or not the Title is considered still active, vacated, or has been abandoned.
History of Championship
Championship Confusion
Championship reigns previously noted for Filoso, Osamu Namiguchi and Katushiko Nakajima are believed to actually been promoted as WWA World Junior Light Heavyweight Championship matches, not using the actual belt or championship lineage. See that title for more information.
