The AAA Latin American Championship is a professional wrestling championship promoted by Lucha Libre AAA. It was introduced in 2011. It's used as a secondary championship behind the AAA World Heavyweight Championship.
Current Champions
Fénix is the current champion. He defeated Taurus on June 18, 2022. That match was also for the AAA World Cruiserweight Championship.
History of Championship
The championship was introduced in 2011 at TripleMania XIX. Dr. Wagner Jr. defeated Rob Van Dam in a decision match to become the inaugural champion.
