Current Champion
El Bandido is the current champion. The championship is independent and not bound to any promotion. He defeated Angel Blanco Jr. on September 28, 2017.
The second Hijo de Rey Misterio also holds a claim on this belt. He won it as part of a four man title tournament at the relaunch show for the WWA promotion.
