Bio
Born in Ciudad Delicias Chihuahua, on October 20, 1956. Made his debut as El Puma (masked) he made suffer tecnicos de las arenas chicas. His talent and abilities made his way to stardom when he was called to be part of Los Super Libres in Pavillon Azteca. He became a top wrestler in Pavillon Azteca main events along with his tag team parter Zar de la Muerte. He competed against the best heavyweights of Los Super Libres, such as Tinieblas, Fantasma, El Hombre Increible, Rey Neptuno and Halcon Dorado I, his longtime rival.
In despite of his mask loss, Puma (then known as Puma Valderrama) would keep as main eventer in the roster of los Super Libres as tag team partner of. "Los Mastines" with Barba Negra. El Mercenario joined them to become the trio of "Mercenarios" to win the vacant AWWA Trios Championship.
In 1994, Puma Valderrama and several wrestlers of los Super Libres went to Los Independientes from El Toreo de Cuatro Caminos, briefly.
