Born in East LA, he was inspired by his uncles [[Los Gemelos Diablo]] to pursue a career in Lucha Libre. In his neighborhood there was an small lucha libre Arena in which he used to attend and he decided to join in as a trainee. He was trained by a local luchador named as El Imperial aka Sol Naciente. He began his training at the age of 17 until 20. After El Imperial, he was trained at [[Arena Coliseo Mexicali]] by [[Bobby Martinez]] until his debut. His ring name was inspired by the Norteño music band in Mexicali '''Los Tiranos del Norte''' he met them in a wedding and they agreed to have a luchador with their name. Actually, the band members use to attend local shows generating speculations that one of them was the luchador. His entrance and attire was strongly influenced by this band. His entrance theme was one of the band's hit '''Hasta la Miel Amarga'''. He used to wear stetsons and cowboy jackets for his entrance attire. His gimmick changed over the time to something more according to his personality. His name changed from a norteño to a Doctor Tirano and then dropping the "Dr" preffix to just Tirano. He made entrances with bikers or with an entourage of a gang. The look of his character changed to the one of a biker/East LA gang member. | |||
