Born in East LA, he was inspired by his uncles [[Los Gemelos Diablo]] to pursue a career in Lucha Libre.  In his neighborhood there was an small lucha libre Arena in which he used to attend and he decided to join in as a trainee.  He was trained by a local luchador named as El Imperial aka Sol Naciente. At some point he worked in AAA while [[Angel Mensajero]] while he was Nautilius.  He left the promotion because he did not receive what the promotion offered him.
