Her ring name comes from the religious concept in Buddhism and Hinduism. The meaning of Nirvana is be in a state of perfect quietude, freedom, highest happiness along with it being the liberation from suffering. She liked this spiritual concept so much and decided to name herself after this concept.

In her professional debut she rivalized with Jade who defeated her in a Women's Tag Team Match. On August 6, 2017 she had a rematch against Jade in a mixed tag team match. Nirvana team up with Extraño against Jade & Guerrero Alquiles. This time Nirvana beats Jade and after that Los Marginales, a new rudo team went to attack Jade & Alquiles. Nirvana was offered to join the group and she accepted become the first Female member and Ruda of this group.
