A member of Mexico's 1992 & 1996 Greco Roman wrestling team (130 kg) who would go onto be head of the Mexico Olympic wrestling program. In between, he was briefly a luchador as Oso Negro and more notable as a CMLL trainer in the late 90s/00s, credited for helping train the Grupo Cibernetico group of wrestlers.
