Efekto began his training at Arena Nacionalista with Príncipe Negro (Baja California) He graduated from the first generation of Mr. Tempest Professional Wrestling School.

Efekto had worked for lucha libre promotions such as Promociones Cholo de Tijuana, Lucha Libre Voz, Baja Star's USA, VWE, Promociones Pendragon Rojo, Promociones Mora, LLT, Colosal, AKE, Promociones Pincelin, EMW among others.

He had notable feuds with Galaxy, Galáctico, and he was challenged by Mozambique in a mask vs mask. Eventually the rivalry saw Efekto gain the upper hand, just months before Mozambique passing away.
