Explosivo first made himself known in a rather embarassing way on May 22, 2001 at Arena Coliseo DF. During a trios match he was on the receiving end of a Springboard Legdrop from Chris Stone who overshot the move and landed on Explosivo's jaw which dislocated on impact. Explosivo proceeded to rip off his own mask and roll to the floor in agony as doctors checked on him.
