Former rudo who retired & became a referee in his hometown of Acapulco. He was born on March 26, 1924 in Agua Tibia, Penajamo, Guanajuato, but he moved to Acapulco. He made his debut on September, 1955 as El Escorpión, he lost his mask against El Cadete on 1956. He was known in Guatemala as La Sombra Verde he was part of the Invasion del Pacífico in 1965 with Chanoc, Ulises, and Apolo Curiel. Even as rudo Mendoza was well regarded for his technique. He had a notable feud with Ulises which ended in a mask vs hair match.
