Tigre Leon has been one of the most notable rudos in Mexicali. He has an stiff and effective wrestling style. He combines tecnique, agility, and rudeness. His dropkicks are precise, he can connect them from nowhere. His highflying moves such as the splash and plancha suicida are effective on his opponents. His favorite holds are the cavernaria and chinlock which his opponents submit. Moreover, he had protagonized bloody matches particularly in cage matches.
The Origins
Victor Rangel Flores came from a ranch, Granjas Lázaro Cárdenas. When he was a child he followed the transmisions of Pavillon Azteca. He admired Mil Máscaras and he wanted to be like him. He always was an athlete. He practiced different sports which helped him to define his wrestling style in the future. He even delivered dropkicks to the cows (believe it or not).
The Days of Training
Years later, the young man went attended a party, he liked to dance (but not drink) he stayed there until dawn. He took a taxi to get back home, but on the way he saw a poster announcing "Lucha Libre at Club Deportivo Independencia".
He asked the driver to stop the car and he looked for the address. Once he got to the gymnasium he knocked at the door and he was attended by the compadre of the head trainer who told him where to find Pedro Martínez also known as Capitán Dragnet. He was invited to see a wrestling show, he met Humilde, Alas de Oro, Puma del Ring, Inmortal, and Corsario Negro. He was not really convinced of what he watched. He believed there was something missing in the executions. Capitán Dragnet asked him about the sports he had practiced. Victor Rangel told he practiced martial arts at the Dragon Rojo Dojo, swimming, pentathlon and more.
