Moved to Guadalajara when his parents got divorced. Practiced boxing and basketball, but he had to defend himself of bullies at school. His mother was worried about her son's situation, she asked her brother El Monarca. His Uncle asked him to train lucha libre as a sport which could help him to channeling that anger. His first trainers were Diablo Velazco and Gran Cochisse at Arena Coliseo Guadalajara, but he did not tell them that he was Anibal's son. Learned Greco-Roman, Intercolegial, and Olympic wrestling winning state competitions in 1986. Continued his preparation learning the shoot-style and his uncle took him with Flash to learn lucha libre. His early in ring experiences were at Arena Jalisco owned by Zandokan. His first gimmick was Black Trub. His first appearance at the young age was a pretty famous one as he entered the ring after Máscara Año 2000 had unmasked his father and swore he would get revenge one day. He was the one who removed his father's mask, but he refused to give it Máscara Año 2000 and put it on. He is found working in main events in the independent circuit in México. He had traveled in independient promotions in the United States, Japan, tours in Europe, Central and part of South America.
He received an invitation to participate in Michinoku Pro Wrestling's Fukumen World League 2003 along with Atlantis. [1].
In 2008, IWRG seemed as if they were going to push him as a bigger in company star, by trying to associate themselves with the Anibal legacy as CMLL has done with Santo and Blue Demon. This went as far as creating a Leyenda de Seda tournament and using Anibal regularly. Like all the other touring independent stars, Hijo del Anibal vanished from the company in late 2008 when IWRG lost television (and the TV money.)
