Profile

José María Aín better known as Dr. Karate in Titanes en el Ring debuted on August 7, 1966 against Iván Kowalski. His last appearance was on December 31, 1969 against Tupac Catari.

As main characteristic of Doctor Karate was the use of martial arts such as Karate or Judo, once he defeated his opponents, he offered them medical assistance.

Other gimmicks portrayed by him were Josecito Mister Gofio in Titanes en el Ring on 1962. Then he continued on 1965 as Lobo Caucasico. At some point of 1967 he was the first version of Pepino el Payaso. In the same year he also portrayed El Hombre de Plata and Mike Resorte. In 1975 he portrayed Mike Ferraro in non-televised shows of Titanes en el Ring. From 1977 until 1980 he went as Paquito el Clown. In 1982, he portrayed Mr. Dolar, a gimmick loosely based on Uncle Sam. In 1988 he changed to Don Pacífico in Lucha Fuerte.
