Profile

He was born in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico on June 28, 1946. He was said have debuted in 1972, though some sources say he debuted in 1971. He was paired up with Anibal early on as the two wore similar blue and white masks. The two feuded with Karloff Lagarde and Rene Guajardo. Marquez and Anibal then feuded after which ended in a July 1975 mask vs mask match that Anibal won.[1] After losing his mask, he wrestled as Batman/Betman and teamed a wrestler named Robin. He lost The Batman mask on December 26, 1981, to Enigma de Oro. Scorpio seconded Enigma in the match and help cost Batman the match. Batman and Scorpio then fought the week after in a hair vs mask match where Batman had his hair cut after losing. Batman/Marquez seemed to have left wrestling in 1986 and later lived in Cruces, New Mexico.
