Notes

Francisco José Ota was a Japanese born wreslter who won the Mexican national title despite being born in Japan. His family moved to Mexico when he was one year old residing in Mexicali, Baja California, and at the age of 15 came to Mexico City to attend high school, which might explain why he was allowed to compete for the title and win it, but he was stripped of the title after about eight months in when the commission change it's mind on the matter since he was not born in Mexico and not being son of Mexican parents. Believed to have suffered a bad head injury when falling out of the ring in 1967 and never wrestled again. Passed away due to a stomach ailment in 1970.
