IWL Heavyweight Championship
The IWL Heavyweight Title is a professional wrestling championship promoted by International Wrestling League.
Current Champion
L.A. Park is the current champion. He was defeated Canek, Dr. Wagner Jr. and Justin Credible on September 14, 2013 in Centro de Convenciones of Tlalnepantla, Mexico State.
History of Championship
IWL began a tournament in 2010 in order to get their first IWL Heavyweight Champion. The tournament started normally until the quarterfinals when IWL began to have troubles with the international wrestlers like Scot Summers, who failed to appear in his respective match due he not came to Mexico to wrestle. After these events, IWL chose not more bring international wrestlers and, as consequently, the tournament never was finished and was abandoned.
In 2013, IWL finally crowned their first IWL Heavyweight Champion at their 3rd Anniversary Show. L.A. Park defeated Canek, Dr. Wagner Jr. and Justin Credible and became the inaugural champion.
