Homenaje a Dos Leyendas

Dos Leyendas is the annual spring major card for CMLL, usually taking place in March. The first event was in 1996; CMLL had previously held major events around the same time each year, but Dos Leyendas became the annual name for the event starting with that year.

"Dos Leyendas" refers those being honored by the show. Each year, EMLL founder Salavador Lutteroth is honored along with a luchador. The luchador was El Santo for the first years of the event. Following El Hijo del Santo's falling out with the promotion, a different luchador has been honored each year.
