His ring name was inspired by Western comic's character “El Relámpago de Jack”. His mother doña Tatica did like wrestling, Jack did not want his mother to know that he was a wrestler, so he donned a mask at the beginning of his career, but Dona Tatica recognized her son and ended up accepting that wrestling was her son's passion and Jack stopped wearing the mask.
