Dragon Chino II was born Alejandro Gomez Barrientos on January 18th, 1965 in Veracruz. He had 6 brothers and 2 sisters. His father trained daily and two of his brothers became wrestlers.
He was trained by Hercules Poblano, Ray Torres, Herodes and Blue Panther. He debuted on September 15th, 1979 in Veracruz as Mago Minox. He became friends with Ricardo Morales of "Box Y Lucha" magazine, who had the idea to mask him and his partner as Dragon Chino I and II.
They headed to Mexico City, where they had a hard time as bills mounted quickly. He and his partner ended up going instead to [[Pavillon Azteca]]. The pair found success in Pavillion Azteca as they eventually became [[AWWA Tag Team Championship | AWWA Tag Team Champions]] there. After Pavillion Azteca closed, they went back to the independents and the [[UWA]]. They also were able to wrestle in Japan where it said that Dragon Chino II captured the [[Universal/FULL UWF Super Welterweight Championship | UWF Super Welterweight Championship]].
As a team, Los Dragon Chinos fought other well-known teams at the time including [[Los Brazos]], [[Los Missioneros De La Muerte]], [[Los Temerarios]] and others. The pair eventually lost their masks in July 1993 to [[Zorro (Juarez) | Zorro]] and [[Latigo]]. By this time, Dragon Chino II was at the end of his career due to a botched tombstone piledriver he had taken in Japan and ended up  quietly retiring to soon after.
