Notes
Debuted at the age of 15. His fondness for lucha libre began by watching El Santo's movies. The first time he saw a live lucha libre event was on May 5, 1984 in Auditorio de Tijuana.
In 1986, Mandingo, took him to train lucha libre for the first time at Gym Zeus in Mexico State with Roy Reyes. He kept training in Tijuana at early 1990s with Los Brujos, El Pandita, and Huichol.
His debut as California Kid was in a singles match against Pequeño Halcon (Vagabundo I).
He has wrestled with and against some of the most famous luchadores of Mexico. He wrestled against Hijo del Santo; he was also a tag team partner of Blue Demon Jr.
As Mirage he had more proyection with the AAA roster. He gave the name of Mirage to his son.
He was inactive for two years due to an arm injury and went back as Super Xolo, a gimmick based on the Xolos de Tijuana soccer's team mascot.
