The IWL Internet Championship is a secondary title of professional wrestling to independent midcard wrestlers. This title is managed by International Wrestling League.
Current Champion
Ninja de Fuego is the current champion. He win a 8-Man Tables, Ladders and Chairs Match on June 30, 2012 in Centro de Convenciones of Tlalnepantla, Mexico State. Before the match, the championship was inactive.
History of Championship
Independent Wrestling League (IWL) announced that be held first ever a 12-Man Tables, Ladders and Chairs Match to get the first ever IWL Internet Champion, in which participate Aeroboy, Black Fire, Daga, Eterno, Fantasma de la Opera, Freelance, Lobo Metalico, Low Rider, Naruto, Suicida, Tormento and Violento Jack. The day of the event, Daga become the first and the new IWL Internet Champion.
On July 31, 2011 during the event IWL Extreme Reinforcements, IWL replaced IWL Internet Title by the IWL International Junior Heavyweight Championship. The former internet champion Daga defeated the #1 contender Mike Segura to win the new belt. After this, the IWL Internet Championship was deactivated.
On June 30, 2012 in Centro de Convenciones of Tlalnepantla, Ninja de Fuego wins the inactive title after defeated Arkanos, Carroña, Centinela, Freeyser, Impulso, Infierno Kid and Terror in a 8-Man Tables, Ladders and Chairs Match.
