Jose Angel Barroso was a Matamoros based luchador since at least 1950s. Regarded as the best heavyweight of Matamoros. Wrestled with and against notable heavyweights of his hometown such as Relampago Williams, Mr. Moto, Golden Rogers, and Bulldog II. His in ring career was short lived, but very effective.
