The GALLI Championship is a professional wrestling championship owned by the GALLI Lucha Libre. It was introduced in 2008 as first championship in the promotion.
Current Champion
Fénix is the current champion. He defeated Aeroboy on September 23, 2018 in Arena GALLI, Villa Park, Illinois to win the title.
History of Championship
Championship introduced in 2008. Charly Manson Jr. became the first champion by defeating Gringo Loco in finals of 12-Man Battle Royal. Other wrestlers involved in the match were Aguila del America, Amenaza del Siglo, Discovery, El Infernal, El Tigre, Golden Star, Guerrerito Del Futuro, Guerrillero, Pentagon del Infierno, and Slayer.
On February 9, 2014, Discovery defeated Bryce Benjamin to win the title. Days later, the promotion announced they must strip Discovery from the title as he won it via controversial finish. Bryce Benjamin was reinstated as champion.
Aeroboy was the 23rd champion. He defeated Mojo McQueen on May 6, 2018 in Arena GALLI, Villa Park, Illinois to win the title.
