Profile
Mexicali based luchador rudo since at least 1982. One of the fan favorite wrestlers in Mexicali, and regarded by fellow wrestlers for his strength, and stiff and effective wrestling style. He is remembered for bringing a football to the ring at the beginning of the match and threw it to the rival followed by a powerful tackle.
Charger was born on February 20, 1955 in Tecuala, Nayarit. He was trained by Panterita Negra; and he debuted on 1982 in Arena Coliseo Mexicali. He had wrestled in all over Baja California, particularly Mexicali, Tijuana, and Ensenada; La Paz, Baja California Sur; Nogales, Sonora; Monterrey, Nuevo León; Xalapa, Veracruz; and more. He wrestled with and against the biggest names of Lucha Libre of his time such as Blue Demon, Solitario, Dr. Wagner, Angel Blanco, Perro Aguayo, Anibal, Atila, and the then debuting Blue Demon Jr. He also had feuds with Interceptor and Flamante Turbo. Among his achievements are winning the Pacific Coast Tag Team Championship with El Estudiante; and winning luchas de apuestas matches in the Auditorio de Mexicali. He had been also an influence for new generations of luchadors.
