Arturo Garza Rangel, better knowm as Flamante Turbo was a Mexicali based luchador since at least late 1980s, regarded as a great técnico. Trained by Príncipe Negro, from that generation came out Thunder Boy, Negro Azteca, Humilde, Killer Dog, El Traidor, and Guerrero Rojo. He held notable feuds with Charger and Angel Diablo. He wrestled at Arena Nacionalista, Arena Coliseo Mexicali, Arena Huracan Ramirez, and Auditorio de Tijuana.

For his ring name he was inspired on the nickname had in middle school. He always liked sports and dancing. In 1980s there was a movie character in the film Breakin' named Turbo (played by Michael Chambers) who was a break dancer. Arturo was a very good dancer and he used to participate in school festivals. He was so good that his classmates nicknamed him after the movie character. When he was abour to choose a ring name, he already had Turbo in mind. Unlike what many fans think his name was not inspired on a fast car but the official ring announcer in Arena Coliseo Mexicali billed him as Flamante Turbo believing that Arturo's gimmick was inspired on cars.
