He began his training in 1979 at the age of 17. He was trained by Barick River and his brother. His professional wrestling debut was in 1972 at the age of 21 and his first wrestling name was Jesse Castillo. In 1979 he donned the mask of Peninsular. His wrestling career is over 45 years. He wrestled in Arena Pueblo Nuevo, Arena Coliseo Mexicali; Los Angeles, California; San Luis Río Colorado, Caborca; and La Paz, Baja California Sur.
