History
Arena Coliseo Mexicali was founded in November 2, 1972 by Rafael Rebelin, the first wrestling promoter of Mexicali. The Official name is Arena Coliseo Rafael Rebelin Ruiz, named after its founder. Its first main event was a Tag Team Match between Santo and Blue Demon against Los Gemelos Diablo. It is the oldest wrestling Arena in Mexicali.
When Rebelin passed away the Arena Coliseo Mexicali remained closed for several years. The Promoter Jorge Gonzalez took over with the permission of Rebelin's son.
Address
It is located at Calle Once (aka Heroico Colegio Militar) and Querétaro Avenue, in Colonia Pueblo Nuevo.
