There were few mask makers at the time and there was a young tailor who made his mask out of demin. After that he went unmasked and chose the name of Costeñito Moy. That name came when he began his career at Acapulco and the was a well known bóxer named Costeño Morales he decided to use the diminutive and there was a Spanish wrestlers who also came, [[Carlos Moll]], and he changed the "ll" for "y".
