IWRG, Grupo Internacional Revolucion, is a promotion based in Naucalpan. They're an independent group with their own championships and television show. IWRG was started in 1996 and was founded by Adolfo Moreno. His three sons have took over management of the promotion before Moreno's death.
Up to until 2007, they had a talent sharing agreement with CMLL which includes CMLL wrestlers in the main events and occasional rookies being mixed in lower. The two promotions had a falling out in late 2007, seemingly over IWRG using El Hijo del Santo in disregard for CMLL banning him from affiliated shows. Since that time, IWRG has relied more on in house talent while also bringing in independent wrestlers.
