He trained under tutelage of Príncipe Negro, one of the most recognized trainers in Mexicali. Manuel Hernandez and Caudillo Jr. were also an important part in his training. He began his wrestling career at the age of 18 after four years of training.

His professional debut was in 1984 at Arena Santa Isabel in Mexicali, Baja California. There was a missing wrestler for the preliminaries and his maestro, Príncipe Negro told him that he was ready. He Received a mask and gear to compete as El Desconocido in a singles match against Blue Man who later would be known as Humilde. Organizers, fellow wrestlers, and the crowd got a good impression for his performance.

The name and concept of Furia Roja was an idea from El Estudiante, who in that time was promoter and the man who inspired him. He accepted inmediately. From there he was recognized as a one of the most notable rudos in Mexicali. He was part of one well known wrestling Trio in Mexicali. La Ola Roja along with El Traidor, and Guerrero Rojo.

Among his most notable rivals were Tigre Leon, Guerrero Rojo, Humilde, Killer Dog and Hijo del Solitario. Hijo del Solitario and Furia Roja protagonized a rivalry on 2003 which led to series of bloody matches. Eventualy, Furia Roja took Solitario's World Championship. Among those series of matches he took and kept one Hijo del Solitario's mask as a personal trophy.

On 2016 he rejoined with his team mates in an Old School vs New School feud.

On January 1, 2017, Furia Roja announced his retirement after 32 years of wrestling career after the traditional Arena Nacionalista's New Year Event.
